Just some of the highlights I had in a week I am looking to do more of these video compilations. Some will be funny and some I hope to highlight epic wins.

Life is all about balance. This steadiness is important to maintaining a healthy life-style. Whether you are married and have kids or are on your own slipping to one side of any spectrum can be detrimental to yourself and those around you. I know this may sound a bit ominous but the reality is that it is important to keep a consistent harmony in your life. Balance Strategies So how do we keep balance, below I have a few ideas or suggestions that I have use/d when it comes to balancing hobbies and life in general. I would recommend trying a few and find which ones work best for you. Time Allowance is one of the strictest ways to keep balance. It may seem a little childish but overall if you need a stringent structure this is for you. Simply decide by day how much time you want to dedicate to a specific subject. From there maintain this balance with some sort of reward or punishment if the allotted time is ignored. This is good if you have someone to help you due to the reward/punishment factor. Segmentation is a little bit easier to regulate on a personal basis. This is similar to staying on a diet where you allot certain “cheat” days where you can splurge on something. This is a good way to also start to limit yourself if you are trying to cut back on something. This method is easy to adhere to if you are by yourself or working on this balancing by yourself.
The Outcome of Balance
The benefits of maintaining a balance life are numerous. Stress and time are probably the most immediate to show themselves. Obviously your reputation and social acceptance also can begin to flourish as you retain this stability. Lastly your general awareness of where you are in your life and surrounding eventually comes to play. This essentially means that you can begin to feel like you are on top of things and in control of your life. Experience with GameFly I have had Gamefly coming up on 8 months. I have rented a multitude of games from them for a few different systems. With this I have also had the experience of renting a ton of genres and game types. Overall I would say I am experienced when it comes to Gamefly.
Game "Q" They have a queueing system that works like a number in line. When you add a game you give it a priority and set it appropriately in your list. When the game comes back to GameFly it is then shipped to the next person looking to rent the game. This is kind of limiting in that you cant always get the game you want. However I have found that it forces me to expand my list based on games I want to try. This has of course resulted in a few unexpected games that I had originally pegged as ones I wouldnt have enjoyed. Most notably would be LOTR: Shadow of Mordor. I have grown to love this game given its similarities to Assassins Creed.
GameFly Rewards This last one was something I was completely unaware of until earning my first reward. In fact I was really excited when I found out they even had a reward system for being a member. Overall this is one factor that kind of sealed the deal for me when deciding if the service was worth it. With the benefits of a percentage of a game as well as a cash reward every few months it is hard to not find the value in using GameFly vs buying or renting from Redbox. Final Opinion
In summary I would highly recommend trialing GameFly if you are an active gamer. I would even recommend it if you have kids that play games. The usability of the service is great and provides a lot of flexibility. It also has a robust collection of games to choose from even if it a decade or two old. Lastly the reward system practicly has the service paying for itself with cash and percentage value towards games. |
